Goodbye 2011 ... What a year!

Well, we've seen riots, failure at eurovision (yet again), boom, bust and more bust.

2011 has been a rollercoaster year to say the least but here at Clever Recruit we have experienced growth and success beyond our wildest dreams. We have welcomed national, multinational and indie clients to working with us for the very first time. It's been a wonderful year!

This year saw us move to our new head office in the state of the art Leigh Sports Stadium, welcome new staff members and offer new services to our portfolio.

With the economy and markets struggling it has never been so important that businesses can source the very best talent through a cost effective service. Our Flat Fee Recruitment model has been constantly changed and adapted to suit the needs of our clients and achieve the very best results.

A so called recruitment consultant said to me the other day that I was the Wallmart of the recruitment industry. Maybe they were right but frankly I don't care! If me offering a greater choice of recruitment services at a cost that shames the rest of the over priced recruiters makes me the "Wallmart" recruiter then so be it! Cost, Service and Results are my driving force and I along with everyone here at Clever Recruit aim to provide a new way of recruiting that keeps us apart from the "shoddy" norm.

Monthly Update: November 2011

Christmas is fast approaching and boy do we know it here at Clever Recruit, it has been such a busy month for us. With our retail clients experiencing their busiest time of year they have needed us even more to assisting with their online recruitment.

In this month we have exceeded all our targets and welcomed some new clients who have never worked with us before. New faces to meet and people to impress with our service is our favourite part of the job.

Through our social media guru Mike we are developing our online presence and passing down our knowledge to our clients who are benefiting massively.

This month has also seen us working on even more diverse roles from senior director jobs in top national retailers to niche creative roles that we have never worked on before. It has been a wonderful experience seeing our flat fee recruitment service being used for roles like this and even better seeing the results and hearing the praise form our clients.

I think everyone here is looking forward to our move to Leigh Sports Village next month and having brand spanking new offices as a Head Office.

Growth and Success: Clever Recruit is to move Head Office

It is announced this week that Clever Recruits head office
will be relocated to the Leigh Sports Village in Leigh, Lancashire.

We are moving to larger offices in the new Leigh Sports
Village development which will provide more space for our ever expanding team.

Our flat fee recruitment service has seen a whopping 50%
increase in sales due to our continued success offering online advertising,
online resourcing and flat fee recruitment to business across the UK.

To satisfy this success our flat fee recruitment team will
relocate to large new offices in LSV where we intend to grow our team and
create jobs for the local area.

Our company philosophy is to provide the highest quality
resourcing and recruitment solutions at a flat fee for businesses across the UK
so our move will allow scope to provide our services to more businesses.

Monthly Update - October 2011

Admittedly this monthly update is later than usual – we’ve just

been so busy here at Clever Recruit HQ.

October saw us increasing our social media presence with the

launch of our facebook, twitter and LinkedIn campaigns under the watchful eye

of our very own social media guru Mike.

In addition to this in October we broke company records,

increased our diversity of placements and welcomed more staff to our expanding

team.

Reports show the flat fee recruitment industry is certainly

expanding but here at Clever Recruit as always we are keeping one step ahead

and constantly looking to the next evolution of online and flat fee

Are Flat Fee Recruitment companies just CV sifters?

Undoubtedly some companies in our industry are simply "reselling" the job board space that they have purchased. This is in breach of the terms and conditions and most providers in the flat fee industry would love to see job boards stepping in, and erradicating these services.

A CV sifting service will simply send you all the advert response, or perhaps use an automated keyword search, in most cases these CV's may have been uploaded onto the job boards weeks if not months earlier and the best candidates have been snapped up by other companies. Either way this means hundreds of CV's, many of which are duplicates.

At the premium end of the market, where we consider Clever Recruit performs, the only difference from a traditional agency should be the payment model. What is flat fee recruitment and how is it different from a traditional recruitment agency?

Flat fee recruitment agencies do not charge placement fees based upon a percentage of the successful candidates salary or package. They charge a fixed fee based on the work they carry out on each specific vacancy. Flat fee agencies take advantage of the flaw in the placement fee model that sees multiple traditional agencies all given the same vacancy to recruit for, with the knowledge that only the successful agency is going to get paid. If you are a traditional agency working under this model your placement fee, has to take into account the other vacancies you receive no payment for.

The flat fee agency charges a fixed fee to perform a set amount of work. Although there is rarely a guarantee of success (Clever Recruit offer 5 guarantees) if you can work closely with your flat fee recruitment provider to understand which of the roles in your organisation are fairly straightforward to recruit for, then you can achieve low costs of hire.
